Smuggler Racquet Club is nestled in the mountains of Aspen, CO at the base of the old Smuggler Silver mine, and has a rich history as a local's tennis club.  Founded in 1973 by four friends who were tennis-starved in between ski seasons, the club's first summer season began with an umbrella table, a phone, a cashbox, sunscreen and court-time charts. 

 

Since then, Smuggler Racquet Club continues to be a local's tennis club. With six tennis and two picklballe courts, Smuggler Racquet Club offers members plenty of opportunities to get onto the court. Members can participate in clinics, private lessons, informal matchplay, leagues or recreational play. Additional activities include bridge, horseshoes, pingpong, and plenty of social gatherings.  Smuggler Racquet Club is a family-friendly club that continues to pass on it's history and traditions to the new generations of members. 

 

Smuggler Racquet Club is a membership club, however, we welcome guests and the public to participate in many of our on-court and social events.
